Exxon-Mobil Paid $3 in Taxes for Every $1 of Profit
« on: May 01, 2008, 08:25:58 PM »
"This is the Democrat/Liberal fondest wish, to keep the troughs full and Add more cash to the pork barrel for Muthra's critters !

The breakdown, according to Perry, is $9.3 billion in income taxes, $8.4 billion in sales-based taxes and $11.6 billion in other taxes.
snip
Thus, Exxon-Mobil paid nearly $3 in taxes for every $1 in income. Exxon-Mobil’s income taxes of $9.3 billion in Q1 2008 also set a new all-time record for the highest amount of income taxes ever paid by a U.S. corporation in a single quarter.

More Libtard rhetoric about "Evil Big Oil" gets flushed down the toilet.
Liberalism Is The Philosophy Of The Stupid

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years.  The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Yes, this just goes along with what I posted in the political ammo thread. Too bad the libtards don't understand it.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

And yet Obama wants to pass a "windfall profits tax" for another $20 Billion.

Did this guy get stupid and forget 1979 all of a sudden?  I sure has hell haven't.

Rush was replaying some Hilary's comments this week about Evil Oil and how she needed to get OPEC in line (she has no power to do that) and how we needed to 'understand the price of gas so we can fix it' ..

her and Obama are quite inept at economics and I pray to God that McCain finally seizes on this aspect in the GE..
