It's interesting to see the Right-Wing-Noise-Machine (RWNM) sputtering like a 1970's era Chrysler K-Car as they struggle to respond to the Occupy Wall Street movement. So far, their efforts to control public opinion have failed, as the movement appears to grow stronger every day.

All they have to counteract this "true" grassroots movement, is an attempt to cast the demonstrators as "unclean", or "slovenly". A brief review of any Faux corporate backed wingnut site, radio talk show, blog, or media personality reveals an almost "lock-step" depiction of the people at the protests as "unclean". In other words America...to the RWNM, you can ignore the valid concerns of the demonstrators because they haven't showered in a couple of days, or don't have the typical Tea Bagger 3-1 ratio of Porta-potties to participants.

I guess if the RWNM had been around during the Revolutionary War, they would be writing propaganda pieces for the British about the "smell" and "ragged clothes" of the Americans. If they had been around during the time of Christ, they would write propaganda pieces for the Romans about the "tattered sandals" and "dirty feet" of the Apostles.

If they had been around in World War II, they would have written propaganda pieces about the "squalor" of the Concentration Camps and heaped their scorn on the inmates, vice the Germans.

We're winning folks...that is the message the RWNM is sending.

Yeah, because what the founding fathers/revolutionaries, Jesus and the Apostles and concentration camp victims went thru compares so much to what a bunch of spoiled trust fund babies and flea party astroturfers of the OWS (bowel)movement are going thru today. :bird:

You are not winning. You just sound like a bunch of whiny bitches.

You need to keep yourselves clean, so you won't easily transfer bacteria/viruses through your drum-circle network, DUmmies. Although... :whistling:

You are not winning.  People are laughing at your "demands."  And when you have soundbites of those zombie loons in Atlanta repeating back in a creepy cult-like monotone, and others yelling into a mic "We want Communism!"  you're not winning any hearts and minds.  The other side is.

People are sick of your drugs, drinking, and pooping.  They're sick of incoherent stoners.  And yes, they're sick of the smell.

:bird: for comparing yourself to concentration camp prisoners.

11. The demonizing of the Youth Revolution of late 1960's .....
Here's something I wrote on another thread recently about that ---

and note that when demonizing didn't quite do it, they moved to a false

flag operation
otherwise known as Charles Manson/Helter Skelter --

which even more today looks like a military operation ---

Any time I visit my parents I like to take a quick glance at their local newspaper. They live in a small to mid-sized rural area made up of normal everyday working people. The paper asked four local people what they thought of the Wall Street protest. Out of the four only one responder said that the hippies should keep at it. The other three were against the protest with one of those three saying that the protestors needed to get a job and go to work.

If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

There have been times when I didn't have running water. So long as I didn't roll around in the mud I could wash my hair, my body with a soapy wash cloth, shave and brush my teeth with a gallon of water. That was the emergency minimum to keep me from smelling and to look presentable. None of these "resourceful young people" can buy a jug or find someone to fill a empty one for them?

Go to the Dollar Store and get :

1) Gallon jug of water
2) A bottle of hair/body wash
3) Speed Stick
4) Pack of wash cloths ( scratchy but functional )
5) Toothbrush
6) Toothpaste
7) pack of razors
8) Shaving cream
9) Microfiber towel
10) disposable cups ( for shaving and teeth brushing )

Refill the jug every day and for less then the price of a bad hit of acid you can go from smelly hippy to...hippy I guess. The point is IT IS NOT THAT HARD TO STAY CLEAN IN THE MIDDLE OF A CITY!

One can only hope the E-Coli spreads.......soon.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Close.  We ignore the concerns of the "unwashed, unclean, slovenly demonstrators" because their concerns are invalid.  That they aren't bright enough to secure Porta-potties or to use soap only enhances our amusement.
