Ok, ok I get it...this Iranian plot is mean to distract

And came from DC.

So how much did the US government pay mexican intel?

What was the price paid to the Instituto Nacional de Migración for them to arrest patsy at the Mexico City airport and return to JFK?

Here is the deal, this was amateurish as hell. I will give this to the President of Iran. This did not come from his office. I am also willing to bet not from the pro side of the Qootz force. It was either a rogue group or quite frankly a probe. But it is real, or this is a very large conspiracy involving people from three Mexican agencies and two us agencies, if not three. (There is state too)

Will this lead to war? Nope, the saber rattling though is to be expected... And none should be shocked if Israeli and saudi intel at least talk to each other now.

But please, too large and cross national borders to be a good one. I am not even counting the third nation involved, Argentina.

3. My money is on whoever would profit greatly from the U.S. starting a

war with Iran. The list is not short but it's not that long, either. Richard Clarke (sp?) said this was odd. I agree. Hello MIC? Is that you?

The most obvious benefactor from a war with Iran is Obama.

4. Or, maybe it is what they've said it is.

I understand that people tend to feel these attacks and plots are all staged to induce fear, or to open the way for war. However, I think it's a bit much to assume that every single incident is a Machiavellian ploy. There are bad and/or crazy people out there who want to harm other people. Governments wanting to harm other governments is as old as civilization.

I can't say with certainty that it was for real, but I don't assume everything's a trick, either. The world's a lousy place and, if this is as it appears, the Saudi Arabian ambassador and everyone around him escaped a terrible death.

Iran and other Muslims want nothing more than to be left alone and live in peace.

I am digging the way the Conspiracy Theory folks are dancing around blaming Obama as they would have blamed Bush for this...    :-)

Well, no one would believe the jug-eared Kenyan would want to murder the Saudi ambassador. They're both Sunni.

I hadn't heard this term before so I googled it, and all I get are various video gamer profiles.

I'll put my tin foil hat on.

1. Holder is in some deep shit over F&F.
2. Holder holds a "I kick ass" news conference and then leaves after the first F&F question.

Yeah, I suspect not only the timing but the whole operation.

After reading much of nadin today, I've added her to my list of primitives potentially most likely to crack soon, and do something really stupid.

She's becoming more and more Messianic, and we all know how these people evolve.

Sooo...the Saudi guy is Hussein's aspirin factory.

Not a winning strategy. As I recall, the aspirin factory hardly made a dent in the news cycle.

Same thing with supposed death plots from Mexican Cartels with Iranian backing.

It truly is painful to try and render her rambling malaprops into English.  The one shred of reality in it, which she touches on completely by accident, is that the Quds Force are pretty much a law unto themselves and entirely capable of setting something like this into motion without the actual Iranian government leadership authorizing it, much like the machinations of the Japanese Army in Manchuria in the 1930s.
