Is OWS is the last hope for the people ?

Who the **** would vote down a jobs bill ? - The bought and paid for, that's who.

How cute the DUmmy thinks that just because it is called a jobs bill that it will magically create jobs.

6. They would rather take down the county

Over party politics. People should remember the GOP, despite the pain Americans are going through, would rather sabotage any recovery for power.

Yep that's it, it really has nothing to do with the fact that the jobs bill is the same exact thing that was tried and failed.  :mental:

Can we call it what it really is? it's a "let's give money to the Unions so they'll send money back to my campaign" bill.

Much of it will be paid for by raising taxes, that is the ultimate goal of DemonRats.  Tax the rich and say it is for jobs, it use to be for the children, but we know how that failed.

If it was called the "Plant More Flowers to Attract the Skittle Shitting Unicorns Act of 2011" and the bill didn't pass they would really believe the reason there was a lack of Skittle shitting unicorns was because the bill didn't pass and b) without the bill there is no way to plant more flowers.

If their stupidity could be bottled, it could have fueled  Solyndra for another year.

12. We may honestly be moving to the verge of real revolution...

I mean I would think not but all of the pieces seem to be in place in a very weird way and as my wife likes to say - things happen very quickly during periods of instability.

Wow! Yeah we may be seeing important human history unfolding before our eyes. I know which side I'm on - that's for damn sure!

I have two questions for the DUmmies:

First of all, who is "we"?

Secondly, who do you think this revolution will be against?

The vote was made by people in accordance with the wishes of the majority of voters who placed them there. They did exactly what they were voted in to do. In that sense it was "fixed" in line with the desires of people engaging in the constitutional process. The ballot box was fine as long as you were getting what you want. Now you want to cry foul because it's going the other way?

Again, who do you think this revolution will be against? It won't just be against the government, or the rich who by your own estimation comprise only 1% of the population. There's a whole shitload of people out here, millions, who aren't going to take too kindly to having the power of our vote usurped. I'm one of them. Add to that the millions more who may be noncommittal politically but won't appreciate in the least having their lives and livelihoods and ability to feed their families disrupted by your "revolution". You think we're all just going to sit by idly while you tear everything down?

Guess again.

You go down that road, you better take a hard look at what's ahead. You cry now over a shot of pepper spray and someone getting pushed to the ground. You'll be begging for Mace and Tasers when you see whats in store for your "revolution".

For once a DUmmy gets it right - the politicians can't fix this; they're not supposed to, they're supposed to provide the basic foundations in which people can fix it...somehow I don't think that's what the DUmmy meant, however.

How the first stimulu...er JOBS BILL worked out for the USA.

1. 11,616,000 unemployed (March 2009).

2. $860 billion dollar stimulus bill.

3. 14,010,000 unemployed (August 2011).

The above come from the BLS and CBO.

Now to me that looks like we spent $860 billion dollars (not including cost of funds) and we now have 2,394,000 more unemployed people.

Another thing:

1. 153,716,000 was the total labor force in March of 2009.

2. 153,600,000 was the total labor force in August of 2011.

Again BLS numbers from their monthly reports.

That appears to be another loss of 116,000.

So a grand total of  2,510,000 jobs lost since the grand plan of borrowing 860 billion dollars to fund public union and green jobs.  That works out to $344,000 per lost job.  Using linear regression I estimate that the new “Jobs Bill” would have increased unemployment by 1.3 million people.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Don't forget the first stimulus was supposed to support infrastructure spending.  They spent $20 million on road signs with no purpose whatsoever, and they're still complaining about bridges.

This never was a bill about creating jobs.  It was a steaming turd that was gift wrapped in pretty paper that said "jobs bill" on the outside, but inside was just another attempt to increase taxes and give money to zero's union buddies and doners.

I firmly believe this is where we are headed.  They're out of complaints, and have been for some time.  This pathetic movement is about selfish greed.  There's no moral ground for them to stand on.  This cannot be billed as a civil rights movement or anything remotely that noble.  It's about a lot of freeloaders who want a lot of something for NOTHING.  And it very well has the potential to spark bloodshed, because these are not peaceful or moral people.

Yep that's it, it really has nothing to do with the fact that the jobs bill is the same exact thing that was tried and failed.  :mental:

Obama wants to say that he had the solution to all of our economic crises, but the Republicans wouldn't vote for jobs.  That's what he WILL say and he can rot in hell when he does it.

Or that S0lyndra got more money than 35 states received for infrastructure. Or that 0bama giggled when saying that shovel ready jobs were not so shovel ready as they thought.

Those signs were the only shovel ready ready projects paid for by the stimulus. They were even put up on construction sites that were already underway before the stimulus passed.
