Romney speech at Citadel encouraged insubordination. Right?
   
How could you not conclude this after watching it? Mittens stood up there before a class of military cadets and trashed their boss, their Commander In Chief. Rank is everything in the military, right? Didn't Romney stand there and encourage the cadets to side with him against the person at the very top of the chain of military command? I mean, he did that. I saw it as well as you. And he said their boss, the President, the Commander In Chief, didn't want America to be the strongest country in the world.

How does what Willard did and said in his speech not constitute some kind of sedition? I don't know if Obama or Clinton or any other Dem has ever spoken out against a currently serving Commander In Chief before an audience filled with military servicemen and women...but I swear if it ever happened the right wing would go ballistic.

3. You completely missed the point.
   
Show me the text or a video clip of a speech candidate Obama gave before an audience of currenty serving military personnel or cadets where he bashed Bush, then the president and Commander In Chief, and I'll eat my hat.

The difference is, if 0bama had done so, he would have booed off the stage, he knows that he has to play to his audience whenever he speaks.

Isn't The Citadel a private academy, not really associated with the armed forces of the United States (although, obviously, its graduates then go on to be.....later).

And if so, how does that make the Magic One their commander-in-chief?

Okay, I just nadined it.

The Citadel is apparently a public state institution in South Carolina (I'd thought it was private, and in Virginia).

It has an ROTC program, which is part of the U.S. military establishment.

But outside the ROTC program, it's run by the taxpayers of South Carolina.

So one assumes the governor of South Carolina is its commander-in-chief?

And incidentally, The Citadel appears to have academic rankings much higher than academic institutions in blue states.

I know that the Citadel has ARMY and MARINE ROTC Cadets...and I guess by extention connections to the US Military...and therefore are under defacto command of Obama...but if I were him, I wouldn't count on the Cidatel for much support... :lmao:

Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

The Citadel is a state-supported institution of South Carolina.

Apparently its origins resemble the origins of most National Guard units.

As far as I know, the National Guard is under the authority of the governor of the state where it is located, not under the U.S. Commander-in-Chief.

The hypocrisy and duplicity of DU continues...and they remain unaware. 

Insubordination was encouraged by the left when Bush was president. But when a democrat is in charge, the Bush era tactics change to one of utter loyalty.

Progressive's Bottom line: dissent is only patriotic when Republicans are in charge. If DU could get away with it, they would have loyalty officers walking the streets. Free speech and the rights of the constitution are only for the elite, not for the people, that's the democrat way.

Democrats/liberals/progressives/socialists/communists all equal one thing: tyranny.

And...The Citadel is not part of the US Military, just a private college.

This kind of information will knd of frustrate the numbskulls at the Dump as it should (not neccessarily will) tell the DUmmies which side the Army and Marines will be on, come the revolution.
