Reading conservative web sites is really quite amusing. I love, especially, the "Get a Job" crap.

They relate this or that story of someone in desperate straits asking what they can do. They chuckle when people cite medical emergencies as a reason for those desperate straits. No matter what the reason someone says they need help, those conservatives always say "Stop whining, dumbass. Just go get a job."

My question to those conservative assholes: "Where?"

8. We know some personally who are on Medicare, SS, and government pensions

And say they hate Big Government, Evil Taxes, and of course, People who Live on Government Entitlements and Hand-Outs.

(Further, some collect state benefits here in our blue state, while establishing residence in a lower-tax, depressed market red state, to avoid paying in here. And they see no irony in any of this.)

Liar. Most of the Koch brothers products are American made and mostly union.  Now Obama's boy Jeffrey Imelt, he has shipped lots of jobs overseas.  Government motors have shipped more jobs to Mexico since the bailout, too.

I think McDonald's might have trouble hiring someone who smell like a cat box.

Nothing against the Dude's lifestyle choice, even though I find it disgusting, but there are health issues involved when serving and preparing food.

Wanna talk about projection? How many people here at CC are chronically unemployed? And how many people at DU are chronically unemployed?
DU wins that in a landslide, of course the fact that most of you can't pass a drug test and won't do anything that even resembles physical labor is probably the main reason so many of you have been unemployed since Clinton was in office. Maybe if you freaks dropped the entitlement mentality and took a job "beneath you", maybe you would end up eventually finding something better, but no you prefer to sit there with hands held open waiting for them to be filled by the taxpayers.

I'm starting to suspect that one of the sparkling husband dude's kids lost a job--the sparkling husband dude is sixty-five, and set for life, himself--and so this concern about unemployment.

One's sorry to hear it if it's true, but the sparkling husband dude has only himself to blame, having always voted the straight (D) ticket, the straight Democrat machine ticket, all his adult life.

Voting has consequences, although in this case it seems it's taken too damned long for those consequences to strike the guilty.  Like decades too long.

Well, if the sparkling husband dude's kid is still living at home, I'm not surprised there's no work available.  Ellicott City isn't known for being a major manufacturing and/or service hub.  Maybe if he went somewhere like Detroit or Sheboygan, his chances for employment might improve.

Being a suburb of Baltimore, I imagine it's a lot like other established suburbs.  You have DUmmy NRaleighLiberal who, apparently, lives in Raleigh, NC.  I think the attraction to northern Raleigh is the decent, civilized people who retired there thirty and forty years ago after spending their lives being productive and making the neighborhoods there what they are. 

The problem with NRaleighLiberal and other idiots like him, they keep voting in the same stupid politicians that want to turn Raleigh into Durham and every other blue cesspool in the country where people warn you not to go out of your house at night.  Thanks, but no thanks.
