That does seem to be a problem here, sir.

In case folks don't know it, there's a "pop up" option here on conservativecave that alerts one if one has a personal message.

I've not employed that feature myself, but I know I've got a PM because it hits my email. Not sure what's going on with GCBill, but that's okay. Just a simple question I've asked. No big deal if he doesn't get to it.

If one doesn't do the pop-up thing, and one doesn't have the personal messages forwarded to an e-mail account, one trains oneself to glance at the "my messages" thingamajig near the top of the Forum page when one first comes here, and if there's a message, it's in [ ].

Bumpety-bump to catch the attention of not only our colleague GCBill, but any other member remiss about checking for personal messages.....

Yeah, I turn into a pumpkin at about 9 p.m. because I'm up usually at 4 a.m. One of these days GCBill and I will bump into each other. I just don't wanna get a headache from the bump!

There's one in particular that drove me nuts, about two years ago.  I had something, and personal messaged it to someone who was deeply interested in the same thing.  It was hot, it was good, and I figured he'd be all over it like hot syrup on pancakes.

Alas, that individual's probably never even checked to see if he had personal messages.
