Is it normal to see light steam from the hood scoop of a car after highway driving in 95 degree humid weather?

The car is not overheating, no leaks, running great.

You know, the primitives and sub-primitives make a big deal out of how everybody should help his fellow man, but please notice the date of this bonfire, and also take note no primitive has bothered to answer the question.

Such good helpful people, the primitives and sub-primitives.

Surely it has to be an embarrassment to my fellow alum Skins that the automotive forum on Skins's island is less animated than the automotive forum here, even though this place is much smaller than Skins's island, and even though ostensibly the primitives and sub-primitives are brighter than we are.

Okay, in case the primitive is still driving what appears to be a steam locomotive, anybody here have any ideas what it might be?

My guess is that it is likely from the AC condenser "sweating".
Normally that drips off into the small puddles of water you see under cars in the parking lots after they have been shut off.

In this case it is being evaporated to steam and escaping through the provided vent.

If its coming from the hood scoop, it isn't vapor from the A/C condenser.....my guess is that something is leaking out onto the hot exhaust manifolds after the engine is shut down.....could be oil, could be coolant......

doc
