Special Education thread

So how was your experiences in special ed classes? I have had some great times in that class, where the other times I don't want to remember. Overall, I find sped students alot more down to earth than any of the so called "normal" students.

3. Not knowledgeable on classes, but I have spent a fair amount of time volunteering with Special Olympics. Any time I feel sorry for myself, I just think about those athletes and what they have to overcome on a daily basis, without whining or complaining. Makes my problems seem petty by comparison.

Besides, I always get smiles and hugs when they see me...how can you pass that up?

6. I take Sped classes

I'm doing well. They are all resource rooms besides my fifth period class which is Life Skills where I'm basically now just a stop by class. I'm trying to get out of Life Skills and putting Tutorial Skills in 5 spot since second semester I have Music Appreciation for third block and this is where my Tutorial Skills class is scheduled now. FYI, I've been in the Life Skills class for my entire life and didn't take any resource classes until freshman year of high school.

You are so correct in regards to sped kids. I love some of those cuties to death

Most DUmmies were in the Spec. Ed classes or were bullied by kids that were in them.

????

A lifeskills students is significantly cognitively impaired.  They would struggle writing a sentence, never mind a post like this.

Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Maybe that's because you are an idiot, stupid primitive, and your Special Ed teachers could see it way back then.

I'm still waiting for the rotund aspylad Odin2005 to offer an example where he's not an idiot.
