Well, you know, sir, I can't bad-mouth any opponent of ours.

The worst, the most vile, the most disgusting, thing I can say about Wisconsin is that it's a pretty good football team.

I have no prediction.  It wouldn't surprise me if Wisconsin wins, and it would surprise me if Nebraska wins.

Other than that, I'm mum on the matter.

I just love the excitement. So many good Nebraskians are in town booking all the local lodgings and enjoying our fair city on such a beautiful fall day.

Plus, there's football.

Actually it is a very exciting year for Wisconsin sports.

Actually it is a very exciting year for Wisconsin sports.

I just got back from the neighbor's house.  They were having a mid- and late-afternoon cookout, in preparation for the game tonight.  Everybody's excited; our first Big 10 game (as a member of the Big 10).

Then I came back here, because everybody's going to watch it on television, and television doesn't rock my chair, row my boat, push my buttons.  I plan to just watch the scoreboard on the Omaha World-Herald site, and get the details in the Sunday morning newspaper.

Go Big Red.  Win or lose.

Illinois 38, Northwestern 35.

I thought that was a "rivalry" game that took place at the end of the season, not near the beginning.

Penn State 16, Indiana 10.

Damn; don't like that.

Michigan 58, Minnesota 0.

Michigan State 10, Ohio State 7.

Damn; don't like that.

Notre Dame 7, Purdue 0, in first quarter.

Nebraska-Wisconsin not underway yet, at least on the internet.

The Big 12 doesn't look especially exciting today.  Apparently Missouri has the week off?
