I have two questions this morning.

(What else would I think about before 6 am on a Saturday?)

1. As to LBN, have you ever considered extending the time to 15 hours, or making some kind of overnight exception? Good stories go online while most in the US are asleep and never make it to LBN for that reason alone.

2. Why do some banned posters should up in profiles with a tombstone while others do not show up at all?

I was glad when I saw that another DUer had already asked the question in the ATA forum.

http:/www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=vi...

However, the reply did not explain why one banned poster gets deleted totally while another gets a tombstone. (I am not asking if it is wise or not, just asking to know the reason for the different treatment.)

Thanks and thanks, and another congrats to the Skinners. (If Isaac was born that big 5 weeks early, he has already done his mom an act of kindness in arriving early. An infant who does an act of kindness while still in the womb will grow up to be a leftie for sure. So, congrats to everyone who benefits from Lefties, too.

Oh, I dunno.

An act of courtesy on his part, so as to not discombobulate her too much; and franksolich is a rightie.

1. I can't say that we've considered extending the time limit for LBN

The 12 hour limit seems to have done the job for the many years that it's been in operation, and I don't recall an extension ever being requested before.

Banned members: I was not aware that some members still appear in the Profiles section if they have been banned. I was under the impression that banned members were removed from that section. If that's not the case, feel free to send me a private message with an example so I can take a look.

2. Thanks for your answers.

Not meaning to be flip (well, maybe just a very little), but, if you thought profiles of all banned posters simply disappeared, what did you think all the posts containing remarks about tombstoning and pizzas referred to?

The next time I come across a tombstone, I will gladly email you a link, but I am not understanding how seeing a banned DUer's name next to a tombstone will help you explain why some banned posters get tombstones in their profiles while some get disappeared entirely.

My next question is, what is your email address?

Speed demon! :-)

Sounds like my wife and son. She said she had 3 labor pains and he was here. She also told me while they were still cleaning her up and stuff that if they could all be that easy, she wouldn't mind having a dozen or more. I said, "Oh no! We're getting you fixed."

My mom spent 23 hours in labor with me, and I was a 9 pound 7 ounces breech baby (10 days late).  She described how the doctor turned me, and it sounds like the most painful thing ever.  I made up for it by being a terrific daughter though  :-)

What Earl is not saying is the fact that it still counts TSers in their members total for which is currently listed as 175,757.  I'm saying about 3/4 of that number are TSed.
