Would you agree that it's probably time for a rule or policy that specifically deals with blatant mockery, name calling and offensive or demeaning stereotyping of "The South" or any other particular region of the country?

I haven't been here all that long but from what I can tell, others view this as a problem and being that I'm in a part of the country that is on the receiving end of the broadbrushing, I can totally understand why.

1. This stuff is almost always subjective

If you see someone mocking a particular region of the country, feel free to alert on the post so that the moderators can check it out.

The south is the most horrorible place in the world to live. Iran, North Korea, Cuba, any place is better than the south. STAY IN YOUR BLUE STATES PEOPLE...they have the best freebies any way....and since we pure liberals pay little to no taxes, they are all free to us.

I repeat, DO NOT MOVE TO A SOUTHERN RED STATE. THEY ARE HELL. STAY IN YOUR BLUE STATES.

The South is hot as hell, too friendly, the pace is as slow as a snail, people drive like they have all day to get somewhere.  Always trying to get to know you, all in your business like they're family.

Once you come, you're stuck. You never want to be stuck.  Plus it's full of conservative people.  Not the kind you can convert.  Hard headed son of a guns.

There is nothing here you'd like, NOTHING.  :-)

I will agree that the south is horrible (I lived in SC for a year and traveled the region for several years).

Bugs?  You have never seen.  So many fleas, their fleas have fleas.  Fire ants, sugar ants, and camel crickets are the stuff of nightmares.  Mildew grows where no mildew should.





And the northern rockies are the same, in a different way.  (Sorry, I have to keep plugging it.)

We all say "God bless you" a lot! And "Merry Christmas." And we often offer to pray for you. Sometimes we will even pray for you without you knowing it.

We also put up the US flag every chance we get. Some of us has the US flag up all the time.

Oh! And I still see the 10 Commandments in some of the courthouses around here.
