OK, I admit it. I am getting a little depressed about the next election

I am not very good at math but:

President Obama + $1 Billion Dollars + Whack job for the GOP candidate = Landslide win for President Obama

It is that simple. And I like good hard fought close elections too. But the GOP is going to deny us of that with their sheer stupidity. They are actually going to nominate one of these assclowns as their candidate. Think about that.

Choose any possible candidate for president out there. I can think of a dozen hard hitting issues that would sink any one of them with in about five minutes. They are all rejects from somewhere. Not one of them dingbats is qualified to tie their own shoes much less be president of the free world.

This is going to be a boring election. At least we are going to win.

Old Don's getting senile about twenty years too soon.

But I guess that can happen; he's 58.

Then why are you getting depressed if Obama's Billion will buy him the election?

Obama should pay down the debt with that billion, or give it to one of your favorite green charities since it is going to be a cakewalk for him. If you were a true progressive you would be really pissed about your democratic president collecting that billion and not spreading the wealth around.

I take offense to that.  The only dingbat I know of voted for Carter:

I agree.  I think he should give half of it to Herman Cain.   :cheersmate:

I can think of a dozen hard hitting issues that would sink any one of them Obama with in about five minutes...but MSM and the democrats will never ask Obama about them.

Should we "bank it", DUmmie?  Right now, your boy is polling so badly he could have his ass kicked by a moldy ham sandwich.

But keep telling yourself that, right up until he goes down in flames.

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Well, what gets me about this is that wasn't it the Democrats, liberals, and pre-primitives who used to gripe about "big money" in presidential campaigns?  Like back when Nixon, Ford, and Reagan were president?

Didn't they gripe about it a lot?

(Incidentally, I agreed with them, but never mind.)

But then starting in 2008, the primitives were actually boasting about the mega-bucks the Magic One was raising.  They were actually proud of it.

What happened to that old-time Democrat liberal conscience re: money and elections?

One question will sink 0bama.

Are you better off now than you were four years ago?

This is going to be an election that will make Mondale smile.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Denial, plain and simple. Everyone knows that Obama is going to lose big. I won't be surprised if he loses all 57 states. Its not just Zero either. Dems are going to lose the Senate, and fall further behind in the House as well.

The Senate may just go to a fillibuster-proof majority for the Republicans.  I wouldn't be surprised at all.  Also, Dems on down to Town Dogcatcher will lose.

Buy stock in drug companies now before the antidepressant stockpile is depleted.

Demand for antidepressants will necessarily skyrocket next year and so will the stock values of the drug companies.
