MSNBC: Teen suicide = GOP homophobia
« on: September 27, 2011, 08:58:39 PM »
Apparently, MSNBC thinks teen suicide, homosexuals, and the Republican party are the same thing.

Quote
The parents of 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, who was found dead at their home on Sept. 18, indicated in an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Ann Curry on Tuesday that their daughter endured further taunts at a school function immediately after Jamey’s wake. At a homecoming dance she attended shortly after her brother’s death, a potentially poignant moment turned ugly after a song by Lady Gaga, Jamey’s favorite artist, who recently dedicated a song at a concert in his memory.

“She was having a great time, and all of a sudden a Lady Gaga song came on, and they all started chanting for Jamey, all of his friends,’’ Jamey’s mother, Tracy, told Curry. “Then the bullies that put him into this situation started chanting, ‘You’re better off dead!’ and ‘We’re glad you’re dead!’ and things like that.

...and the liberals that encourage youths to "come out" as early as possible and then flaunt their "queerness" to everyone don't share any blame in this. Uh huh, yeah, that's what I thought.

Must be "Gay Week" in the MSM.  PMS-NBC and CNN are both pushing tons of gay kid stories.

Remember when gay meant happy?

In Victorian literature, it was used in the term "Gay lady," which basically meant slut.

How many high schoolers are registered to vote?

Quite a few would be of eligible age in liberal hell holes, that is if they haven't already dropped out or died in a drive by shooting.

Yeah but he said registered. Not eligible. Registered means getting off your lazy ass and getting the registration forms (plus being able to read it).

You know, bullying like this continues, whether it's because of gay or whatever, because the same liberal teachers who love advocating won't give kids picked on the tools to not allow themselves to be singled out. My 7 year old is getting picked on currently. At some point, I'm done allowing the school to handle it and my son who outsizes his offenders quite a bit will be given the go ahead to defend himself. This is a liberal created problem for a whole host of reasons--encouraging kids to 'come out' so early(when many of them don't even know yet what they want to do for a living, but if they think they are gay, yep, it's a go), not allowing teachers the power of real discipline, and zero tolerance bullying policies that make victims into perpetrators if they fight back. So sick of the bs all around.

BTW, there should have been a conversation with your son too putting this into perspective. I've made sure to at least protect my child's emotional health by telling him that those kids are a reflection of their own idiot parent's upbringing. He is not to take the cackling of losers seriously and that his schooling is a very short time in his life. Get done what he needs and walk out with his head high. Defending him like a mom wants too isn't always going to produce what is needed. He needs the skills and confidence to overcome the stupidity of others too.
