Cheese hat maker threatens to sue over billboard
« on: September 27, 2011, 10:23:20 AM »

The company that makes the cheesehead hats is miffed with a physicians group that's used one of the firm's creations on an anti-cheese billboard.

The suburban Milwaukee cheese gear manufacturer, Foamation, has asked the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine to take down the billboard near Green Bay.

Foamation attorney Ed Sarskas says if that doesn't happen the next step is a federal lawsuit.

The billboard ad features the Grim Reaper with a scythe and wearing a cheese wedge on his head. The billboard message warns of the health hazards of fat, cholesterol and sodium in cheese.

Sarskas says Foamation doesn't want to be associated with something that disparages cheese. Physicians committee spokeswoman Susan Levin says they want consumers to understand that cheese is a junk food.

Democrats want you to die...what do you mean, "No they don't"...they're the ones for giving away free government cheese, ain't they?
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

In the ancient and impoverished world people invented and used cheese to get their dairy requirements without refrigeration and it's hailed as a milestone of ingenuity until a bunch of snobs with degrees call and tell them how unhealthy it is.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

An anti-cheese billboard in Wisconsin?   :o  Look for it to be perforated.  At least, it would be in Northern New York.  Cheese, glorious cheese!

That physician's group is obnoxious.  They're not happy unless you're gnawing on a turnip.  Tell wid em.

Crazy people, how many of these Doctors follow their own advice?

I get a kick out of the articles on people living to be 110 year old,  they are asked what they believed led to their longevity.  Some say a shot of whiskey and a cigar every day, one old lady ate 6 oz. of peanut butter every day.

None so far were vegetarian or involved in healthy exercise after 90 years old and some had come from families that were also long lived.

Anyone remember the Doctor that became famous for his touting Vit.C.????   Interviewed by I believe it was Johny Carson show he had just told Johny he would live past 100 years old because of his healthy living and Johny asked him a question and he did not reply, he was stone cold dead.  Just like that, still sitting up, head down, dead in front of a studio audience and millions of TV viewers.
