Yep, as of today you only have three months to shop and get prepared for the ominous holidays! It's only a matter of time before the stores start playing bad Christmas music, tempers flair and your wallet goes up in flames!

The countdown is on...90 days...  :popcorn:

Same here.  Gold coins in $1 denominations are preferred, though .22 LR ammo is also accepted . . . unfired, of course. :-)

Grrrrr.   I hate cold weather.  I HATE COLD WEATHER!!!

Glad I live in south Texas but it still gets friggin' cold here.  I remember one time it got down to 32 degrees F.

My shopping is done.   :tongue:

I don't give gifts to my kids.  Instead, I get them something they realllllly want during the year that they otherwise wouldn't have.  And the grandkids each let slip what they wanted when I was there last time, so I got it and stored it.  No shipping costs this year.

Christmas decorations have already been out in some stores around here since the first of September.

I don't have my act together yet for Halloween! Though I have started getting my porch decorated with deep red, rusty orange and yellow mums and yellow and orange pansies. Have to get pumpkins and the Halloween decorations put out.

I am so excited this year about Christmas.  I think I have turned a milestone in my age/maturity.  Used to be I was all about what gifts I was going to be getting.  Now I am SOOOOOO EXCITED thinking about my kids opening up their presents and the smells of Christmas (minus after dinner farts) and just the cold. 

I can't wait help hubby hang his Xmas balls up  :naughty:

I'm the same way, the greatest joy of the gift aspect of Christmas for me is choosing that perfect thing for someone I love.

Wife and I don't exchange gifts. After 30+ years, it gets old.

The only gifts I give, in early December, are the $20 bills to the minimum wage clerks in the checkout lines that put up with grouchy old me at the grocery store the rest of the year.

The boyfriend and I decided not to give gifts.  We buy each other the thing we want most, that will benefit us.   This year it is a shed and a pressure cooker.
