A special education teacher at Kettle Moraine Correctional Institute was charged Wednesday with felony sexual assault for allegedly having sexual contact in her classroom with an inmate half her age.

Nadine N. Minglana, 42, of Sheboygan, faces a maximum of 25 years in prison on a count of second-degree sexual assault by correctional staff.

According to a criminal complaint:

The inmate, a 21-year-old Milwaukee native, told a Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department detective in late August that he and Minglana began having sexual contact in late spring or early summer. The two were alone together in Minglana’s classroom as part of his one-on-one educational instruction.

Sorry, not so outraged about it, especially when between a prisoner and a prison employee.  Lots of universities also have rules on dating and relationships between faculty and students.

The only problem, Sparky, is the very real and very strict internal regulations (not to mention laws) about prison staff and inappropriate contact between them.

I'd say this qualifies, based on the allegation.

No, what I'm saying, is that I'm not outraged by the fact that she got charged.  The fact she's having sex with ANY prisoner, regardless of age, does piss me off.

ETA: Oh yeah--GUILTY.
