we need a day thread(tuesday)

Well, I sit here in hibernation mode again because it is barely above freezing at the present time and sleeting--WTH??? I really despise cold weather--just for the record. So, as I am in lazy mode, curled up on the couch trying to stay warm, I offer up the day thread.

TOTD: What is it about someone that really peaks your interest in them--not necessarily romantically--just interest in talking with them more and getting to know them further?


For me, it is a spark of smart a&& humor, but with a subtle undertone of humility. A sparkle in the eye, a friendly face. Having similar interests are fine, but I find it is more like a technical meeting of the minds if the person doesn't have the above to go with it. If it's a technical meeting of the minds, I generally am not interested in getting to know the individual on a more personal level. Maybe that's biased and I miss opportunities, but it is what it is.

Tuesday....I get to spend the day finishing laundry from last weekend, so I can pack and be ready to leave in the morning.  Oh, and I get to run to the dance store for tights after I go to the Dr this morning.  Life is so exciting!

TOTD:  I like people who can laugh, and can use humor appropriately to get their point across.

I'm at work.  Taking a little break.  Yesterday I had to run the statements and since the cashiers didn't get me their stuff until noon,    I didn't get to some of my regular day stuff.  No big deal, it's not the end of the world if I don't do them that day, but I tend to put extra stress on myself because of it. 

Anywho, so it's only 10:16 am and I'm totally ready to go home.

TOTD:  Usually humor or a sign of decent intelligence.

yeah, i would say smart assery is high on my list.. a good sense of humor. but once we get to know each other better, i need more depth.

as for this morning, i'm supposed to be hitting the punching bag in my gym in the garage.. obviously, i am not doing that right now
