Bugs ... are our Friends
« on: September 16, 2011, 07:10:46 PM »
Met this sweet thing this morning. She nibbled my ear, ruffled my hair, but, it just is not going to work.

I am 60 years her senior and happily married.

UPDATE: Praying Mantes eat their mates.
Lol got to admire her ambitions.

Interesting.

The only thing I saw this week was another long-leg spider.

How many legs did this spider have? :jerkit:

Now, granted the smilie I used is referred to as the jerkit, but...I merely intended to employ an icon denoting speculative interest in the question.  Is it MY fault CC is defective? :ohnoes:

  :rotf:

I dunno, it was crawling across someone's desk the other day.

This stupid cat does a decent job of killing and eating whatever bugs show up here.

Aw, now she's all disappointed Rick. You know she was so looking forward to eating your head right off your shoulders after the honeymoon!

She expected the victim to do all the work? :p

That, and afterwards she intends to suck the lifeblood from his tired veins. :whistling:

Lucky duck.  One of my kids left a cat when she went off to college.  The only way I know it's spotted a bug is because she stops, stares, and then runs like heck away from it.

The only thing she's good for is making me vacuum and mop more than I otherwise would.

I'm willing to accept bugs as friends as long as they stay outside my house. If I catch them inside, I turn all homicidal and kill them.

I guess that latter part might keep me from making bug friends.

and on second thought...outside I really don't want them touching me or I turn homicidal and kill them.

I've killed bugs for my gal friends too.

and crickets. hate the chirping little ********! If the sing in my house, I hunt them down, and I turn homicidal and kill them.

OK, I guess this who diversity thing isn't working out. No Bug friends for me.

OK, so I killed this thread.

But the bottom line is: I'm a serial bug killer.

Once I screamed like people do in the movies (like in old cartoons when a woman would see a mouse) when our miniature schnauzer brought in a freshly killed rat and dropped it on the dining room floor. I called my husband and made him come home from work to get rid of it. I would do it again if I found that scorpion in my house.
