Today, Barry Manilow was in Washington D.C. to speak about Atrial fibrillation, a disease he has suffered from for 15 years and which he he worries doesn’t get nearly enough attention. The Daily Caller interviewed him and, after discussing H.R. 295 (a proposed bill to fund research for the disease), the conversation turned to something that gets quite a bit of attention; the 2012 election. More precisely, The DC’s Nicholas Ballasy asked him about his past support for Ron Paul, something Manilow confirmed whole heartedly.
Asked about his past contributions to Paul, Manilow replied thusly: “I like him. I like what he says, I do. I like what he says. I think he’s solid. I agree with just about everything he says. What can I tell you?â€
