My Happy Thread.
« on: April 28, 2008, 09:24:58 PM »
One month and two days after he trotted out of our house and into a frigid March night, my retarded cat Eddie is safely home.

3 pounds or so lighter (And he was skinny as a rail to begin with) coated in grease (He was living in a truck barn a couple miles up the road towards
the highway) and sporting a big ole scar across his nose where he got in a fight.

The stupid flyers I plastered all over town!!!

Someone at the truck company noticed him and called the local Amaco and when my wife took the mancub in there after school today they told her to go check.

They walked into the truck barn and he came trotting over and threw himself at her!!

So when I eventually return home I will have my brain damaged little fur ball waiting for me! :yahoo:

Build a man a fire and he will be warm for awhile.
Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life...

Thats great news asdf. My black cat Quagmire dissappeared for 2 weeks and pretty much came back in the same condition :-) Its amazing how they can survive on their own but will cry all night long if their lonely or hungry :-)

You know, asdf, given you are on this trip of self-discovery, something happy like this happening during to remind you of home and what you have may have a message in it somewhere. I have a feeling though, that was not lost on you--the timing.

What a terrific thing! Look forward to your next update post!

Awwww!!!! He's got a sheepish look on his face. Scamp!

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
