CHICAGO (WLS) - A lot of reaction Wednesday morning to Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky's interview with Don Wade and Roma.

Schakowsky said that Americans don't deserve to keep all of their money because we need taxes to support our society.

LISTEN: Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky joins Don Wade and Roma

“I’ll put it this way. You don’t deserve to keep all of it and it’s not a question of deserving because what government is, is those things that we decide to do together. And there are many things that we decide to do together like have our national security. Like have police and fire. What about the people that work at the National Institute of Health who are looking for a cure for cancer,” Schakowsky said.

Schakowsky also says one reason the 2009 stimulus bill did not succeed was because it was not large enough.

Can there be ANY question about whom we must vote for next year?

Hmmm... How about I stop by her house with a U-Haul and help myself to her living room furniture? After all, she has plenty of other furniture in several other rooms so she really doesn't deserve all that, does she?

While I'm there I may as well take a jaunt through the kitchen for a beer & a sammich too.

Jan, the National Inst. of Health is apparently not curing cancer.  This is just a tip of the iceberg, but the following are things that Darrell Issa specifically put in a spending bill to put the kibosh on:

study the impact of integral yoga on hot flashes in menopausal women.

to examine the potential impact of a soda tax on population health

to research the use of marijuana in conjunction with opioid medications, such as morphine.

to study condom use skills in adult males.

to study the concurrent and separate use of malt liquor and marijuana among young adults.

to study whether video games improve mental health for the elderly

I can't believe the same people who rant and rave against funding the defense of our country are A-OK with this kind of garbage.
And, I'll bet your typical lib can cover a banana almost as fast as his Congressional (mis)representative can conjure up money laundering tricks for its re-election campaign.
