Never take what 0bama says as what he will do. In reality the two are quite opposite.

He says he against gay marriage but then (for the first time I know of any president) refused to defend the law because HE determined it to be unconstitutional which is the job of the SCOTUS.  That is pro gay marriage.

He says he pro-Israel but he gave the paliosimians their number one negotiation point while asking nothing of them in return. That is throwing Israel under the bus.

The best rule you can use is that if 0bama says something for public consumption it is a lie. Whne he speaks to a protected class or union hall his word is gospel.

Assuming that you aren't using a stealth proxy, and really are posting from Seoul, South Korea, it is understandable that your view of American politics might be somewhat limited.

That said, you're correct that this election has every Democrat (with the possible exception of those like Nancy Pelosi) very concerned for their future......and rightly so.  those residing inside the beltway (Washington, DC), and in the elite east coast media have absolutely no idea of how much abject hatred is out there among the voters for Obama primarily, and by association his party........due totally to his policies and actions, as well as his condescending attitude........

Malignant narcissist that he is, it will never happen, but his best move would to pull an LBJ, and simply not run for another term......it would save him a great deal of embarrassment......

I sincerely doubt that the EU is going increase in power in the near future.  Several of their states are teetering on the edge economic collapse, and the stronger member states (namely Germany and France) are hesitant to take any financial risks to save them.  Several states are very upset about the fact that the value of the Euro is being dragged down by the poor economies in other countries. 

Also, the Israelis may be concerned about the views of Europe, but I doubt that they have any intention of reducing their borders to keep the EU happy...

How many Israelis do you know? By and large, no they don't outside the far left of the Israeli political. Most Israelis care for Israel first and could give two shits about the EU as the Euros haven't been supportive of Israel for more than a generation.
