46.2 million people live in poverty. That's more than the purported number of unemployed.

22% of kids - nearly one in every four of them you might see every day - live in poverty.

I'm sorry. This is no cyclical recession. The economic system is imploding and no one is doing ONE ****ING THING about it. A little political dithering at the edges to save some elected people's asses, but no serious, big, go for broke programs.

One in every four kids.

Incredible.

Yeah damn those republicans who keep calling this a recovery. Oh wait, it's people like 0bama and Debbie Blabermouth Schultz who keep telling us how great things are.

2. It's a Depression, all right,

with 30.5% unemployment, which is a higher figure than the 1930s.

3. But

The people who tell us its not a depression arent living in poverty.

Why all the glum faces? I thought 0bama had a brilliant jobs bill that was going to put people to work doing shovel ready jobs.

Sounds like they finally got the report about the unicorns being dead.

I bet the smelly dude is really sad. I've been told that the unicorn that they were going to send to him was pink with silver sparkles. It was even a miniature unicorn so he could keep it in the basement with him.

That's nothing. It would be easy to define "poverty" to the point where 90% are living in poverty.
By the standards of a shithole like Mexico, no more than 1% of American children are poor.
That number is constantly manipulated to be of service to ideology.

...and CBS News just reported that 42% of those kids will never rise above the poverty level....they're going to carry on with the old family tradition.

Fat chance.

The sparkling husband dude's just flailing around, trying to find some reason to blame it all on George Bush and the Republicans, and hasn't found one yet.

But when he does find one, he'll tell us.

Fewer millionaires and more poor people along with a lower median middle class, 0bama's work is proceeding quite well.

Looks like 0 isn't the guy to make communism work either.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

There is a big difference between "poor" and "broke."  I wonder how many "poor" people are really just "broke."  GOBUCKS is right - poverty means something quite different in actual impoverished countries.  I don't think we can define "poor" by unemployed and overweight.

Be of good cheer, Comrade Stinkyov, and do not believe the lies of the wreckers and saboteurs!  Great Comrade Obama promised us that unemployment would never be over 8%, so these numbers you toss about like a besotted kulak pitching manure must clearly be lies to harm the State!

...Have you been listening to non-Party broadcasts on a prohibited crystal set, by any chance?

So that's why DUmmies like "crystals" so much.
