It's quiet peaceful, I'm sure.
We finally got away from the hundred degree days down this way.
Texacon is about twenty miles north of me.
I'll bet he's happy about it too.
Still no rain, however.
At least the calmer winds are letting the fire fighters knock some of the blazes down.
It is kind of bothering, though, seeing out on the main highway all these caravans of big trucks hauling hay down to Texas. I can't figure out why Texas cattlemen aren't broke yet, paying more than a thousand bucks a ton for.....hay.
Hay--you know, that stuff we got so much of that other times, most of it's just left to rot in the fields.
I hope to God Texas gets rain, and as much as they need.
