The exchange rate is pretty rough.  Maybe I can get a relative to pick up a Region 1 copy and ship it to me.

I crossed doing an edit

A discussion on Barry's super-important I'm-gonna-make-me-some-jobs speech disintegrates into a Dr. Who discussion. Awesome.

sounds about right both are science fiction. :lmao:

At least science fiction won't destroy our economy.  :-)

it didn't take much to derail the discussion about the boy king needing to feel important speech.   As a matter of fact, it was begging for derailing

Are you kidding, sir?

There's a football game on.
The football game probably put more people to work.

Are some of the episodes on You tube?
If you have Netflix, there are a few classic eps available for streaming.

That's true, but the players union almost cost a lot of jobs this season.

Pretty hard for players to hold out all that long.

Chris check out Pirate bay for  Dr Who torrents.

I watched most of it. He spent most of his time wagging his finger at those who are impeding him progress, and he also railed on about how the country is falling apart -- time to spend more money.

He chided Republicans for being in favor of stuff that apparently found its way into Barry's job bill, daring them to find fault with the same stuff now. Promises of lowering the corporate tax rate for those who hire long-term unemployed, veterans, illegals, those on the public teat.

The central theme was Barry spending money. He's gotta do it and he's bullying Congress into passing his jobs bill yesterday.

Never mind reading the fine print. We gotta pass it before we learn what's in it.

I wonder if Barry ever had to get treatment for his fascination with spending money -- other people's money, of course.

I listened to a little of it on the Mark Levin show. SSDD.  And it just went on and on and on. Mark broke for commercials and even that didn't relieve the tedium.

Lord I hate those commercials.

Just imagine the crazy cat lady babble for 20 minutes and punctuating her rant with "and you should pass this bill now" every two minutes and you pretty much have it.

The only way I'll listen to Obumble's speeches is on Levin's show, with his commentary.  Even Mark couldn't take it after a while.

I had the misfortune of listening to this while eating dinner.  It was the auditory equivalent of syrup of ipecac. :puke:

I luv listening to Levin. But theres just no way I can listen to that POS's lyin, marxist, idiopathic, narcissist voice for as long as it takes me to change the station or turn it off. That low life has nothing to offer.

I tried to tune in every now and then for a while (just to see if the scumbag was still speaking). I was amazed at how long Levin could put up with it. But I couldnt take it anymore. So I missed the rest of the show. I'd prefer to keep my sanity and wait for the commentary.

It's never a question if the asshole is speaking. It's only a matter of how long he'll keep speaking.

I don't think he ever met a microphone and TV camera he and his teleprompter didn't like.

Our morning talk-show radio condensed it for us to a 29 second sound-byte, wherein O said "pass this bill" 36 times.   :loser:
