Say Something Nice

For our latest mission we constructed a custom wooden lectern with a megaphone holster and an attached sign that read, "Say Something Nice." The lectern was placed in public spaces around New York and then left alone. We wanted to see what would happen if New Yorkers were given the opportunity to amplify their voices to "say something nice." This project was produced by Improv Everywhere as part of the Guggenheim Museum exhibition stillspotting nyc.

Have a great day, DUers

New campfire, but it matters not as I'm hijacking it.

My nice comment:

The reign of the man child and first Wookie is coming to an end.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

Say something nice

Larry Kudlow's radio show this morning had David Malpass on as a guest, he went to a party last night and he said he was talking to a top Democrat and the Democrat told him changes are going to be mad at the NLRB because Democrats are furious about what happened with Boeing in South Carolina and how the Union acted.

A nice DUmbass, mind you.
Hope your day went well.

Say Something Nice

Back in the 80's, under Reagan, we had Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.

Today, under Obama, we have no cash and no hope.

Dick Cheney is awesome.

He was my first choice for president in 2000 and 2008--not that I regret George Bush, no way in Hell; just that the great George Bush hadn't emerged yet, in 2000.

He's so seductive in his utter competence, Dick Cheney.

He is that. I'll never forget him during the first Gulf War, when the leftist press was pumping up the "elite", "crack" Republican Guard of S. Hussein (as opposed to B. Hussein). It was to be an incredibly bloody, deadly war, with probably 10,000 Americans killed.

Then Secretary of Defense Cheney showed up giving briefings, as calm and cool as a cucumber, exuding confidence, and dead muzzies started to pile up like cordwood with hardly an American casualty.

Had he been at the helm, instead of the well-intentioned Bush41, or the timid Powell, there would have been no Iraqi military left for the second Gulf War.

I disagree.
Powell is basically a good man
The guy isn't stupid.
I don't have to agree with him, I don't always agree with him.
We both served this country.
He is one of mine, I am one of his.
Don't care for his politics now, and he may not care for mine.
He has my respect, regardless of his politics.
