Republicans in NS!!!!!11
« on: August 31, 2011, 02:19:16 PM »
So, today I was driving into town and I couldn't get ahead of this RV that was pulling onto the road via the highway off ramp which, based on how slow RVs are made me pissed. At this point everything changed. Once I got close I saw a sticker on the rear of that gas hogging rich person RV that said "Don't tread on me" BINGO! I knew these morons we're republicans now! I suspected it when I saw a from away license plate (as only the rich republicans could get a RV like this), but this confirmed it!!!!!

Now stuck behind them I decided I'd follow them and confront them about this. Soon they pulled into wal-mart (go figure) likely to eat at McD's like the lazy asses they were, so I made sure to park and head over to them before they got close to the store.

I asked them what that flag meant and they started rambling on about freedom this and freedom that and some other assorted bull so I promptly told them they were wrong and I was in fact offended by this on their RV. Before they could respond I started to tell them about that RV and how they we're killing the planet and gave them reasons why. I made sure to tell them all the harm their beliefs were causing people and even how it hurt them. I also told them about the evils off wal-mart before they went in.

The lady looked at me and said "You know, I guess you're right we've been wrong all along" and then she looked at her husband and he agreed with her and her said "Thanks, you've shown us a new way of thinking and explained it better then anyone else, you're a good man". They then got back in the RV and went to find a better local store that wasn't wal-mart.

So in the end I was able to educate two idiots and show them their way of thinking and their beliefs we're wrong.

It was a good day. I feel better now.

In reality I saw an RV with a  Don't Tread on Me flag that went into wal-mart. The End.

I just thought this would be a good opportunity to try one of these, despite how much it sucks. I am getting better though.  :p

then asked me to help them remove their bumper sticker and got back in the RV and went to find a Prius dealer for a trade-in before heading to a better local store that wasn't wal-mart.

Bein's how there's a decided shortage of testosterone in NS, I can definitely see that bein' the case.

Good points.

Zero bongs, compaq.

You can do better than that . . . Come on!  You've been here how long?  You should know how to do these things! :thatsright:

Well it was a good start, and Sherrybaby provided helpful suggestions.  The conversion was an essential element of course.  But, compaq, you need to add the applauding, smiling, nodding crowd!  Particularly in a parking lot, perfect strangers have to drift in and gather 'round to hear your pearls of wisdom.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
