A "civil war" among Republicans and conservatives is vastly different from a "civil war" among Democrats, liberals, and primitives.
A "civil war" in the Republican party encourages robust debate and consideration of facts, and usually, generally, most of the time, the best-suited Republican candidate comes out on top (2008 being a rare exception), there being unity.
A "civil war" in the Democrat party incites anger, bitterness, and grudges. And division.
Perhaps the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive should contemplate upon that.
