I see a wallduding in somebodies future.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, in case my fellow Nebraskan missed it the first time I said it.
I'm sure my fellow Nebraskan would know me, or of me, in real life.
All he needs to do is project his memory back circa 15-16-17 years. I was in the
Omaha World-Herald at least once every two weeks, either page 2 of the first section (national and international news) or page 1 of the second section (Nebraska) news, for almost two years.
I wasn't any one-time big splash, but a constant ripple, and that's why people in the
World-Herald circulation area once in a while remember me today, after all those years.
Omaha Steve is a diligent reader of the
Omaha World-Herald; has been, for years, for decades.
But probably my fellow Nebraskan found the stories a little disturbing. Remember, Omaha Steve was the guy who was begging for free rides and free tickets to some football game in Wisconsin, as if he doesn't have his own stash of cash.
Where franksolich went, and what franksolich did, was wholly on his own dime; not a cent from anybody else.
So maybe Omaha Steve doesn't want to remember me. But he could, if he sat down and thought some.
