Tea Party Patriots at our county fair

A new addition this year, such fun! I was on the afternoon shift for county Dem booth and missed most of the excitement. Apparently they came to our booth and attempted to cause a scene several times. One "Patriot" stood in front of our booth and angrily and loudly ranted to his little children that we are the reason they have no future. Can you imagine telling your kids they have no future? The 11 or 12 year old daughter was apparently crying. They finally stopped coming over when police action was threatened. Bullies and thugs the lot of them.

When I was there in the afternoon another came over and said very politely that he hoped we were having a good day and then handed me a piece of paper that he wished to "dialog" about. I said nope, not going to do it and held up the warning note the morning crew left about their earlier behavior. He went away peacefully. I plan to lodge a complaint with the fair directors in the hopes that they will not be invited for next year's fair.

Bouncy fail, although apparently there were cops involved.

I'd say "stretchy". The TEA Party was there, but, the roles were reversed and the only "confrontation" that took place was within a drug-induced, psychotic-hallucination episode of one "red witch".

Given what libs stand for, yes.  Personally, I've been upfront with both of my kids regarding the liberal agenda in this country and how, if the left gets their way, there will be less liberty, justice, and freedom in the USA, and that it could happen in their lifetime.  It would be irresponsible to tell them anything less.  It's the history of empires when they choose to turn from moral underpinnings and ignore the warnings of their own destruction unless they repent.  I don't do it to scare them, but to prepare them.  I make sure they know the only thing sure in this live is their faith in God, and with that they can withstand whatever might come their way.

Yeah, you're right.  Haven't seen a "stretchy" in a while so I'm out of practice. :thatsright:

You can't prevent people from coming to the county fair, you little tyrant.

What was the point of the second paragraph?  She ended up painting the teapartier in a positive, reasonable light, and herself as a close-minded, rigid bitch.  That's very poor bouncy form.

That is pure unadulterated bullshit.

I live in the reddest county of the reddest part of Nebraska, itself one of the reddest states in the union.

The local and county and state Democrat parties put up a booth at the county fairs around here, and once in a while even manage to have one of their local or county or state candidates show up.

There's never been any "confrontations;" the Democrats are left alone to do their thing in peace and quiet, while the rest of us are left alone to do our thing in peace and quiet.

After all, it's just politics.

I will bitchslap anyone who uses the word "dialog" as a verb, whether it's proper or not.
It bugs me as much as hearing "fellowship" used as a verb at church.

Wait, what?  As a verb?  I've never heard that.  Can you give me an example sentence?  Would it be like "There's the new guy, let's go fellowship him."

You are so right.  In a proper bouncy, the entire fair would have ground to a halt and spontaneous applause erupted.

"There's the new guy, lets go fellowship with him." Far as I can tell, it's one of those verbs that needs a helper. I've only ever heard it as "fellowship with" when used as a verb

Reading this, my mind went to the famous axiam: Liberals, DUmmies, and Soviets lie. Liberals, DUmmies, and Soviets lie all the time. About everything.

If there was an altercation, it was the DUmmie's DUmmie friends who caused it.

Who bites people's fingers off?
Who shouts down speakers on the stump?
DUmmies do.
DUmmies do.

Poor DUmmie.  She's just never been the same since that house fell on her sister.

No Tea Party person would ask anyone to "dialogue"! They might stop by and talk, but having a dialogue is for group theapy and Ekankar practitioners. And no one in the Tea Party would EVER do that to their children. Of course, we don't bitch our way through life either.
