I find it curious that Rush has not been on his show since he said that the "new Oreo Cookie will be called the 'Obameo'".

Is it possible that he finally has gone too far? I understand that he's been out all week and won't return Thursday or Friday either.

Here are some truly funny comments from that "wingnut" site. But someone please help me out here...what they hell is "speaking Canadian"???? :rofl:

I can't stand Steyn's accent. It has a lot of cockney-type pronunciation in it which makes for harsh and irritating listening after about the first hour. Then he gets turned off.
If he just talked regular "Canadian" I could take it.

Some may find his accent charming, but not me.

I'm getting a lot of things done this week by not listening to any of these second and third-stringers till Rush mercifully returns.

According to a Conservative friend of mine. Apparently mainly used by Teabaggers and Freepers. I have no reason to doubt him.

It is good to know that Media Matters does more than sit around in their underwear watching Fox News and writing down everything that is said. They also do this for Rush.

What kills me is they can call people all kinds of names, that wouldn't even come out of my mouth.  They can wish Bush was dead and Cheney was too, but Rush can't make a joke about anyone with out being criticized every single time.

My guess is vacation.  People who work hard to pay for your welfare and food stamps find time to take a week or two off.  Can't Rush just go golfing for a few days?  Or is that too much to ask?

I think Rush's current contract is somewhere north of $400 million. He's the main reason AM radio still exists.

I've heard some "lower class" people use it.  I wasn't looking for a bouncy tale, so I didn't pry much further into the people's backgrounds.
