Looks like a Tar-Baby to me (It's a trap)
« on: August 22, 2011, 08:41:55 PM »
This story has been posted a couple of times the last few days.

Please don't fling me in that briar patch B'rer fox

They all know damn well that AlGore has a similar mansion a few hundred miles up the coast. Nobody dares say it though.

And that is AFTER he bulldozes the one that is already there in order to build it. And that is just ONE of his homes. Now I ask you: is this what you want in the White House trying to solve our economic problems? My place is TEN TIMES smaller than that, and I only have one -- which is plenty, BTW. An 11,000 sf beach house? Who on earth needs that?

11,000 SqFt? On the Ocean? Oh the humanity!

1. Our country is suffering because of the things the mega-rich have done -

and we need this mega-rich a-h why?

Maybe because he's worked hard enough to afford the house? Would you rather someone who seems to have been handed everything.....

2. All bow and praise the capitalistic overlords in a corrupt rigged system, and

going along per their plan. The system worships greed, corruption, hoarding of wealth and brutalizing others to get ahead.

I could not imagine most citizens voting for this ass, but certainly some would, "'cause he's gonna make me rich just like him."

Actually no, he's going to leave your sorry ass out, better hope for ObamaStash bucks.
My Old Man was a Chicago Republican until the day he died.

Then he became a democrat.

I'm not exactly a Romney fan by any means, but if he can afford to do something like this, wouldn't that show that he has to know something about economics?
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

**** yeah!!! I agree. Who needs to hire people to knock the old house, build the new one and do all the other work to get the house ready. Screw the people that would be hired to staff it and maintain it after being built. Instead of working and paying taxes they would be better off on unemployment and food stamps.  :sarcasm:

Well, if they were on foodstamps and unemployment, they would be stimulating the economy, right?

You need the "mega-rich" because without their contribution to the tax system and the contribution of the companies they invest in to create or operate, the government wouldn't have enough money to exist, let alone fund moochers the likes of you.

Remember, these are democrats.

As precisely, accurately described by a member of President Reagan's cabinet, all a democrat needs is tight p**sy, loose shoes, and a warm place to shit.

I bet that Granite Construction is as happy as their workers,

Did you all hear about all the new construction going on i Compton because of the food stamps?
Me neither.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Frankly, I'm surprised the Ca Coastal Commission let him do ANYTHING, if in fact he's doing a teardown anywhere near Malibu.

Given that he didn't make his money in acting, singing, or sports, or professional begging (Gore, Sharpton), yes.

John Kerry.

I understand Alan Grayson is filthy rich as well.  Why do they never talk about this?
