IF someone were to primary Obama that was BELIEVABLE and GENUINE

and had a REAL track record, it could give US a landslide election for the down ticket Democrats.

As it is...with Obama sitting at the top...we are going to lose all the way down the ticket because candidate Obama is much different than President Obama. Everyone realizes that there are some things that Presidents can't accomplish and will have broken campaign promises. That goes with the territory. But downright lies and deceptions and actually changing viewpoints (Unions) is bait and switch and many folks are feeling they got suckered.

As a Democrat, he offered up the Big 3. I've talked to a lot of Democrats IRL and they are purely disgusted at this.

There are many more variables than just pretending that a progressive candidate will have the same effect on Congress as Obama has. People are angry. I would imagine that anger is going to be very evident at the voting booths next year. You might see some pretty significant upsets of incumbents.

Whoever the voters BELIEVE in...will reap handsome rewards...all the way down the ticket.
Whoever wins, will most assuredly have a Congress that they can work with.

Problem is...not very many people believe in Obama anymore. That tends to happen when you abandon your date at the door for the one you really wanted to bring.

We all you never have abandoned a trick i mean date before either.

How dim can you be after 30 years plus of politics to not understand that when a President moves far left the voting public moves to the right in opposition.

Carter 1980,Clinton 1994,O 2010 and yet they still think everyone in the country agrees with them.

That is an idiocy that defies explanation.

I don't know.  There are some of them who think that the second coming of Stalin would a fabulous primary candidate.  They never think through step 2 about the General.  Truly, they are underpants gnomes.

7. I am starting to think Obama will not be re-elected. I talk to a lot of
Dems, in '08 avid Obama supporters that worked their butts off for him. Not now, won't send money either.

Go ahead, DUmmies--blow your wad and goodwill with the American electorate you'll so desperately need by having a major pissing contest with a primary challenger to a sitting incumbent president.

If you had put one of those up in 2008 like you were supposed to, Obama would still be hanging out with Tony Rezko and Jeremiah Wright and the rest of us would be saying 'Obama who?'.

Good luck with that now.  Dumbass.

Wow, what a racist! Horse with no Brain must want to run for Grand Kleegle or something.
She's a demented, odious freak. No way she'd oppose a democrat president if he were white.

Name a Democrat who could win a primary against 0bama. I don't think there is one right now.

He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Primary is not a verb, you stupid scrunt.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
