I got so caught up in the false argument that DU was making that I ignored the title of the thread, but thank you, the title of the thread is horrible. Yes I'm a conservative, but I also believe the majority of gay people are born that way and God doesn't make junk, they're as much as a human being as you and I are and they're as capable as loving someone else as much as you and I do, there are bad homosexuals just like there are bad heterosexuals. This woman died tragically just like 4 others did, I don't think 1 should be more elevated than the others who were killed, I don't think it's right that an agenda is being pushed when people don't have the facts (what DU was doing) but this woman, no matter what her lifestyle, is worthy of a more dignified thread title. The issue should've been the false premise being made by DU, not this woman herself.
I'm somewhere in between. God certainly doesn't make junk, and gays are certainly no special case. We all have our natural proclivities to deal with. As humans, we have a common set of instincts which at various times, when acted upon, will be moral and at other times immoral. Individual instincts may be stronger in some than in others. I was born, as a male, with the natural proclivity to want to sleep with as many females as possible. By liberal gay logic, it is then perfectly fine for me to cheat on my wife with a different female every week. That simply ain't so. According to the Good Book, to act on that instinct is just as sinful as to act on the instinct gays may or may not be born with. Some people have proclivities to drink to excess, or gamble to ruin, or lie and cheat until reputation is gone, etc. We all have something to deal with, and gays aren't anything special, shouldn't be treated as a special class any more than a habitual gambler or adulterer would... neither of which are a protected class of people.
