So they are going after the safety net
   
and military retirement.

This is the classic pattern of empires in decline. Here is a happy thought for you... anybody care to ask how well paid the SOVIET troops were paid at the end? I ask because that is where we are going. When the wall fell, not that we knew it at the time, those border troops had not been paid for three months.

Oh and there is more, you think the military will have lifers in a situation like that? NCOs make the backbone of the military... most are lifers.

Yep, we are starting that final circling down the drain as an empire.

The idea of converting military retirement pay to some sort of 401k type plan gets floated around every few years, I remember it coming up in the '80s a couple times.  Nadin needs to stop with the drama.

I am pretty sure a stupidity paradox would occur if nadin and Pittstain took opposing views on what the future of any one subject held.  A black hole in the median distance between nads and Pittstain would inevitably form, sucking us all to our deaths. 

According to my research, Scotland, South Dakota would be the first place to be sucked up by the black hole.

I've finally figured out what nutty nadin's posts reminds me of. It's been bothering me for awhile now.

Years ago one of the tabloids use to have a prediction issue. I guess it was at the beginning of the year. I can't remember for sure. Any way, some psychic or other would predict events that would happen for the year.

Nadin's posts remind me of what you would expect to find if the prediction issue of the tabloid vomited.
