5 Reasons Why National Deficit is the Republicans' Fault

Edited on Sat Aug-13-11 09:17 AM by MN TN
GOP has been turning everything around and are using the deficit as an excuse to get rid of government spending when its actually THEIR fault:

1. BUSH'S HUGE TAX CUTS TO WEALTHY AMERICANS
2. BUSH'S IRAQ WAR - very expensive and based on lies, not 9-11. And it was Obama who finally ended that war and who finally caught Bin Laden.
3. WALL STREET BAILOUT - another clear example of corporate welfare.
4. HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT - So not enough people are paying taxes. Where are the jobs promised by the Bush Tax Cuts?!! Then last year the stock market shot up but still no jobs. So "trickle down" economics is just another lie.
5. CORPORATIONS - finding loopholes to get out of paying taxes and sending jobs over seas for cheap labor and environmental exploitation.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1730653

1. BUSH'S HUGE TAX CUTS TO WEALTHY AMERICANS The wealthy tax rates were cut by 3% the poor by 5% hardly huge tax cuts by any means.
2. BUSH'S IRAQ WAR - very expensive and based on lies, not 9-11. And it was Obama who finally ended that war and who finally caught Bin Laden.
We still have troops in Iraq.
3. WALL STREET BAILOUT - another clear example of corporate welfare.
Yep it was a problem when Bush did it, but it was great when 0bama did it twice.
4. HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT - So not enough people are paying taxes. Where are the jobs promised by the Bush Tax Cuts?!! Then last year the stock market shot up but still no jobs. So "trickle down" economics is just another lie.
Where are the jobs, Mr laser like focus promised? You know those shovel ready jobs.
5. CORPORATIONS - finding loopholes to get out of paying taxes and sending jobs over seas for cheap labor and environmental exploitation.
You know the dems could have change all that from 2009 through 2011, if it is such a bad thing why didn't they fix it?

Now for 1 reason the Deficit is the democrats fault.
The Democrats were in control of spending from 2007 until 2011, during that time period the deficit shot up, unemployment went up, gas prices went up, and on and on.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

...and it'll be his fault for the next 100 years. Then it will revert to the old standby, "It's the JOOOOOOOS." :-)

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

That option had better be in the poll you start!

No kidding. :rotf:
Forgetting to add "blame the JOOOOOS" in a poll, will most assuredly earn you a BS.  :lmao:
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Thank goodness it was just a small impromptu poll.
I think it was BSS that smacked me with a stick a couple days ago for that very transgression. :hammer:
Could have been BH, don't recall... or both. :rotf:

Fortunately no body thinks that but the extreme left. Try telling that to the 60% of the voters in the middle and obama would lose the election, getting only 20% of the vote.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

DUmmies have used "It's All Bush's Faulttm" so much, I wish I had registered or trademarked that comment.

People need to stop pretending GWB is still in office! YES he started it...but it is up to Obama to finish it! YES HE CAN!

25 years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash and Bob Hope.  Now we have Obama, no hope and no cash.
