Blaming everyone else, and especially Bush long after he was ancient history, is just morphing The Magic Negro into The World's Bitch.  It appears he is totally unaware of just how stupid this approach has become, but then Axelrod is his key advisor, and Axelrod already sounds like The World's Bitch himself.

I have spent most of my adult life working for an organization that does its very, very best to correct that mistaken apprehension when it creates problems for us, and I know you spent quite some time in it yourself.

Believe me, people are noticing.  Obama stickers are coming off cars so fast they're taking the paint with them.  And don't think they also haven't noticed the fact that Bush (BOTH of them) have had enough good taste and class to not criticize President Obama.  Would that Jimmuh the Peanut and Bill the Rapist would learn that.
