Dearest DU lurkers
« on: August 08, 2011, 02:59:10 PM »
I'm beginning to think that you guys would do well to reach some sort of consistency on your talking points before posting them on the web. I've stumbled upon this after reading your threads concerning the US credit downgrade. Let me give you an example of what I'm talking about.

In one thread the you claim that the credit downgrade doesn't matter. link to DU brilliance
In another thread you are calling for a boycott of S & P and its parent company. link to DU brilliance
If the downgrade doesn't matter why waste all of DU's vast power on a boycott?

In one thread you claim the Tea Party is powerless and does not matter. (More than one thread actually, but they are old so you'll have to look up the links yourselves).
In another thread you are claiming the downgrade is the Tea Party's fault. link to DU brilliance
In another thread you are claiming that it's the Republican Party's fault. link to DU brilliance

If the Tea Party is so powerless how could it have enough power to cause a downgrade? And why do you even care if, as mentioned above, the downgrade doesn't matter?
Also, it's my understanding, though incorrect I may be, that one of the reasons that S & P went forward with the downgrade was not so much because of the deficit as it was because the government made no real efforts to cut the deficit such as cutting spending which is what I think some of the GOP and the powerless Tea Party with so much power tried to unsuccessfully to do. Are you claiming it is the fault of the GOP and Tea Party because they couldn't get the demonratics to do the right thing?

Can those of you who lurk here see what I'm talking about? You guys seem to be all over the page. With all the vast power and monumental influence that you have I just think that it would be better if you were a bit more focused and consistant. Since I've decided to run as your demonratic candidate I think focus is important when we're verbally attacking those dreaded rethugs.

One more question. Your lord and savior 0 is half black and anytime anyone disagrees with him you call them racists. Since Representative Michele Bachman is female does it make anyone who disagrees with her sexist? Remember, consistency matters.

Thanks,
Your demonratic candidate and fictional spirit-guide FlippyDoo

Why the high standard for DUers?  They're "free thinkers", man.

Free of God
Free of morality
Free of logic
Free of common sense
Free of content

Now, it's "free thinking" over there until you try to register as a conservative, lol.

Having just one good lucid moment after years of dedicated moonbattery can get you pizza just as fast.  Well, unless you are prized star DUmmie like Pitt or a serious donor, but the chances of either type actually having a lucid moment are pretty remote.

They can't understand or see the relevance to any of it.

Dems the facts.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I want to know how they reconcile their complaints that the government is corrupt, unresponsive and hopelessly mired in petty bickering...

...and then squeal like anally-raped pigs whenever someone advocates diminishing government's role in our lives to its essential minimum.

To me, the obvious answer seems to be they intend a one-party system where they no longer have to consider the desires or interests of those who disagree with them...

...yet they insist they are "liberal" because they will salve this tyranny with free abortions and pot.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Yeah, their thought process is pretty amazing. I'm reminded of a religious debate I had with a guy years ago at Hollywood Halfwits (eventually known as RightNation if I remember correctly). He was arguing two points. I ask if he realized that those two points were contradictory. He said he did realize that they were contradictory but that he was able to believe and reconcile two contradictory ideas without any problem. Of course one the differences between that guy and the people at DU is that other than that issue he was a pretty good guy.

By the way, if any of you wonderful DUers are reading this, please disregard the above. As your demonratic candidate I feel that it is helpful to throw out a couple of posts like the above to make the rethugs think I'm on their side and keep them off guard. I know that you great guys are able to hold two opposing views because you are just so darned smart. Much like that wonderful DUer that used chicken wire and cinder blocks to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that...well, he proved something. I'm positive.
