I'm not sure how accurate this is.  I used this website, then I used the Amber's Law website for the same address, and a lot more people came upon the Amber's Law website.

I use the Life360 free version on iphone and it has several more offenders, and photos of the bad guys* too

Wow. I am in a fairly rural area but there are according to this, quite a few violent (and creepy) people around me, all within two miles. Yikes!

Some of their exploits~

Attempted murder 1st deg.
Attempted murder 2nd deg
kidnapping 1st deg.
Menacing.
Intimidating a victim or a witness 1st deg.
Attempted rape 1st deg.
Stalking 2nd deg.
Attempted rape 1st deg.
Criminal use of a firearm 1st deg.
Course of sexual conduct against a child 2nd deg.

And several more, 16 hits. Many of the perps are older, 65 to 78 years old. I don't see too many hispanic people around here but more than half of those names are hispanic.

There's only a dozen in town, but felon assault must be something. 

Are all assaults felonies?  If they are, with as many barroom brawls as we have rodeo week, I'd think the map would be covered!

I got almost the exact same results, so I got suspicious and checked it out.  Snopes says that this website is a hoax.  Sorry guys.

No, misdemeanors.  It has to be pretty well into real or probable serious injury, or use of a weapon to be a felony.

And it's a popular meme on Conservative sites to criticize Snopes, mainly because nobody likes statements that disagree with their own prejudices or religious-based concepts, but I have always found the site to be quite accurate on items that are subject to actual proof, as opposed to being matters of belief.

There are felons with residences on airport property and a golf course (Carl Spackler aside) on my list.  ::)

Probably not the most accurate tool out there.
