Climate change----darn what a new concept, sort of like the idea in the early 1960's that the Russians had developed a machine to control the weather.
Insane idea that we humans can in any way influence the weather of the world, AND, why should we.
ADAPT or DIE is the name of the game, brings a rise in new inventions to survive, civilisations immigrated world wide when their weather made it difficult to stay in one place.
Climate is just weather in any other name. New and different crops to grow, new species to eat and cloth ourselves with.
We cannot expect to survive if we do not adapt to the natural changes around us. We can plant trees to bring the rain, seed clouds for rain, find new ways to irrigate crops, takes allot of work but we do it regardless.
The midwest is so hot and dry this year, if this cycle continues for another 5 years, the people will have to adapt, change their old way of building homes, different crops that can with stand the heat and little rain.
Some are adapting to the changes in our oceans and seas, farmed fish and artificial oyster farms, farmed crawfish and cat fish. We have State Trout farms that place millions of these baby's in lakes and ponds to grow and be caught.
When our lakes dry up from change, the sediment they leave behind can be plowed and planted, or dug out for the richest fertilizer on earth.
We humans adapt to changes in our lives, we are once young then grow old. Every day is an adaption process for us, we have accidents, loose a job, become ill, friends and family die, yet, we adapt and go on.
No reason to cry and lament change, we all change every day, nothing we can do about it but prepare for the worse, and have an idea of how we can survive on earth come what may.
