Tax the Super Rich now or face a revolution   Updated at 5:14 PM

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/tax-the-super-rich-now...

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (MarketWatch) — Yes, tax the Super Rich. Tax them now. Before the other 99% rise up, trigger a new American Revolution, a meltdown and the Great Depression 2.

Revolutions build over long periods — to critical mass, a flash point. Then they ignite suddenly, unpredictably. Like Egypt, started on a young Google executive’s Facebook page. Then it goes viral, raging uncontrollably. Can’t be stopped. Here in America the set-up is our nation’s pervasive “Super-Rich Delusion.”

We know the Super Rich don’t care. Not about you. Nor the American public. They can’t see. Can’t hear. Stay trapped in their Forbes-400 bubble. An echo chamber that isolates them. They see the public as faceless workers, customers, taxpayers. See GOP power on the ascent. Reaganomics is back. Unions on the run. Clueless masses are easily manipulated.

Even Obama is secretly working with the GOP, will never touch his Super Rich donors. Yes, the Super-Rich Delusion is that powerful, infecting all America.

Didn't they used to call things like this extortion?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

11. How many even have a clue to the identity of the super rich?

The Investment class ( a subset of the super rich) use surrogattes usually GOP politicians and can buy Democrats whenever they want a few. So how do you revolt against the super ultra rich?

The super ultra rich?  Hey gordianot, you forgot extreme.

This is all they care about. They don't care if it makes a dent in the debt.

Obama himself said raising taxes is not about increasing revenue, but a matter of "fairness".

The left fails to see that class warfare is a non-starter with most people.  Do you really lay awake at night unhappy that someone is making tens and hundreds of millions a year and you don't?  It doesn't even cross my mind because it makes no significant difference in my life.  But the false belief that it does is red meat to the left, and it's easier than thinking I guess, so it'll continue to be trotted out as the solution to all their ills.

The Market Watch article is no longer there...just how a DUmmy likes it..now he can attribute anything to a supposedly legit source.

I work with a majority of liberals, and I would know if they are angry enough to revolt...most aren't even paying attention to this whole mess. In fact, they seem embarrassed by it.

DUmmies want and crave a revolution because it sidesteps the democratic process. DUmmies never wanted freedom or democracy: they want a dictatorship. Further, they want a bloody Stalin style purge (just like Ayers). They imagine themselves granted positions of power based on the time they spend at DU...They don't understand that Hitler purged his own brown-shirts the moment he got power.

Further the rich are too few to make into scapegoats. There is no neighbor envy that Stalin used to fuel his purges. No any purge the DUmmies start will be focused on Tea party membership and likely members of CC. And unlike Russians and Europeans, the patriots targeted for a purge are armed to the teeth...and DU will see a real revolution then.

But the bottom line is NO one is upset enough about a fantasy class war to rise in arms. No one. Certainly DUmmies will not risk their fat a$$es where bullets may fly. Dummies talk tough, but they can't even take to the streets on not-another-dang-dime-day. DUmmies are parasites, not wolves of war. The liberal/commie govt will purge the useless, blood-sucking, parasites first. No free ponies for DU, not even if they get power. But Elmer's glue will get REAL cheap!

So no, there will be no revolution. At least not as the DUmmies envision it.

Doesn't the "investor class" include pension funds, 401Ks, local governments, etc?
Capitalism is based on self-interest and self-esteem; it holds integrity and trustworthiness as cardinal virtues and makes them pay off in the marketplace, thus demanding that men survive by means of virtue, not vices. It is this superlatively moral system that the welfare statists propose to improve upon by means of preventative law, snooping bureaucrats, and the chronic goad of fear.

To them the "wealthy/investor class" are everyone that isn't living in Section 8 housing, or receiving an SSDI or welfare check.

Would anyone ever believe that they could "rise up"........hardly.

Not to mention Mao, Castro, Chavez, Pol Pot, etc. What these idiots do not realize is the first people lined up against the execution wall is the so called intelleginsia and revolutionaries that put them there... for the simple reason that if they overthrew the last government then they can do the same to the current government. Then they go after the non-producers.

I wholeheartedly agree with the primitive, tax tax tax those filthy rich gluttons and then tax 'em some more!

We can start with this guy, net worth $167.55 Million~

http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/homes.asp

And then maybe this guy, net worth $2.7 Billion~

http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/steven-spielbergs-house/

Of course we must keep this all PC, so her too, net worth $2.7 Billion~

http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/oprah-winfreys-house/

Well, there you go and that's only three just for starters.

Of course we could also hit up this lesser riff raff too...

Hanging with Uncle Hugo, net worth $150 Million~

http://losangeles.blockshopper.com/news/story/2400060201-Actor_Sean_Penn_spends_3_8M_on_Malibu_6BD,

Not really anywhere near the same class as the others but she'll do, net worth a paltry $35.2 Million~

http://www.celebrityhousepictures.com/nancy-pelosi.php

Last but not least we'll round off the short list with this pauper, net worth $100 Million~

(We all know who this is, don't we? Seen here taking off yet again aboard Carbon Footprint One)

Donna, you shriekers on DU have been threatening bloody revolution since $kammer first started fleecing you for your Starbucks money.  Do you truly, seriously think anyone's actually worried about it, or even buying it at all, at this point?
