Why not get a share rental or rent a room from someone? There are ways to deal with this situation without ending up on the street.

I've done both. It's all about survival. Problem is, DUmbasses think that survival means getting to government to take from others to give to them. I rented a room in Atlanta up in Kennesaw when I first moved there. After about a month, a co-worker and I rented a place near George Busbee Parkway near Kennesaw State. You do what you have to to survive. This concept is lost on DUmmies. They'd rather spend their time bitching about other people.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

You're looking for affordable housing in California?  Good luck.  Maybe you can move to Nevada.

...I still have 7 years to go on the Section 8 housing list.

Let me see if I get this straight.

Government services are supposed to be last-ditch, or-else matters as in "If I don't get Section 8 housing, I'll be homeless."

But you have to wait more than 7 years.

Which means:

* The system has failed as designed

* People are using this housing to avoid paying regular rent, thus taking up scare S8 resources

* Apparently you can live without it for 7+ years

THIS is what DUmbasses demand we preserve without reform?
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Ah, the brilliance of the liberal mind.

40 years ago they rioted to fight the system and implement radical change.

Today, the same unwashed hippies riot to maintain the status quo.

They is ironee, but they do not see it.
