Its beyond explanation, but there are many folks in the Bay Area that prefer to believe the highly refined mythology popularly called the “Palestinian narrative†rather than actual history. Actually the real partition was in 1923 when the British handed 2/3 of the Mandate of Palestine to the Hashemite family from Mecca, barring it to Jews. Partition was proposed as a solution to the political impasse,in the spirit of compromise and accommodation. The Arab side (the phrase “Palestinian†was not invented until 1964) not only rejected partition,they rejected any political rights for Jews at all, insisting on a war of extermination in 1948. Any area where thee was an Arab victory, the Jews were massacred and ethnically cleansed. Similarly, the Jews of Hebron, Tsvat, Silwan etc were ethnically cleansed in the “Arab Riots.“Perhaps “Islamaphobia†means “fear of Muslim violence†and for good ,historic reason
