The Ulsterman Report: Whiner-in-Chief Tired of Government – Wishes He Could Be Dictator
by Ulsterman in History, July 22, 2011

Heading into his 3rd year as president, Barack Obama once again blames everyone but himself for the nation’s budget crisis and expresses a desire that he, and he alone, was the absolute authority in the country.

You gotta hand it to Barry – when it comes to deflection, the guy is nothing if not consistent.  He absolutely refuses to accept any blame for anything at any time.  Today’s most recent “townhall” meeting was, once again, no exception, though it did add yet a new twist to the ever-growing and odd collection of Obamaisms. This time the president shared his desire that he was able to simply govern “entirely on my own”, and that having to deal with other branches of government means (sadly) he gets to spend less time with his daughters.

You elected this man your president America.  Feeling just a wee bit guilty yet?

Can't spend time with his daughters, huh? Well, stay off the damn golf course, stay out of AF#1, stay off TV....hell there's 3/4's of a day right there.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

zero says he wishes we didn't checks and balances, because that robs him of his time with his kids.  A commenter responds:

I\’d like to spend more time with MY children, too, but I have to go to work to pay for His spending and to earn money that he wants to give to someone else.

Good article.  You can comment without registering, if you wish.

Yep. His blame strategy isn't going to work. He thinks the debt crisis is a game of chicken while it is happening on his watch. He OWNS the entire economic mess now. Even the blame Bush stuff is falling on deaf ears now.
No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!
