Well. It's official. We lost.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

You didn't just lose...you've always been losers.

EMatahari is a little unclear about the meaning of the word "volunteer."

108. Campaign volunteers cannot create jobs unless they get paid
and jobs is why we lost the House.

So people who give free labor need to get paid in sufficient numbers to reverse the Great Recession.

Got it.

60. To quote Carlin...
"It's the American dream- you have to be asleep to believe it"

Carlin made his living producing nothing of tangible value in exchange for more wealth than he could eat provided by people with disposable income earned in the society he denigrated.

13. The mistake we sometimes make is thinking politicians have anything in common with
the majority of the nation. Most have significant financial holdings and are insular to the rest of the population. I don't care what anyone says, if "they" aren't feeling the pain directly, they aren't feeling it. Americans are herded like sheep today. And we get a lot of lip service, and the great leaders this country once had have long since passed.

TEA party says the same thing.

If the depression hasn't already hit you, get ready, because it's coming.

I can't help but think if the government would stop spending my money for me I would spend more of it myself and that would help my fellow Americans avoid this Depression you squeal of.

Now it gets good:

They'd mow us down in the streets and whoever remained would be even more sheeplike than Americans are now.

Pretty much.

These chowder heads, sit at their computers in safety chanting "revolution", yet would shit their pants if one actually occurred.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Nancy P., “It is clear we must enter an era of austerity...."

...and she knows of what she speaks. She has lost her private jet rides and all that taxpayer paid for booze and food on it. Oh, how she has sacrificed.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

We will meet force with overwhelming force.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

92. Revolution.

Remember what you fools want to revolt for, I.e. other people's property (wealth is property, DUmbasses). If there is a revolt, you'll be outnumbered by the people who want to keep their property.

Try it, fools. Please.

DUmbasses, you really need to be careful what you wish for.  The day you push decent, hard working, God fearing, civilized human beings into a corner where the only obstacle between them and safety is you will be the day you get to experience all of the violence and chaos you have been clamoring for all these years.

Only it won't play out in reality like it does in the movie that runs through your head.

I promise you, DUmbasses, that if you continue on this path, the blood you finally taste will be your own.

Think long and hard, children...

"Time for pitchforks and torches.
And maybe the guillotine. Teach of few of those rich bastards a lesson they won't soon forget."
But don't forget, it's REALLY the conservative Tea Partiers who are violent extremists that use dangerous rhetoric and openly promote violence!
As others have noted, how far the DUmmies clamoring for revolution have divorced themselves from reality is really quite stunning.
In their minds, it'll be a wonderful, triumphant movement in which everybody will join them, the only ones opposed to them will be the evil rich people and the police, the opposition will be defeated without so much as a single casualty on their own side, and they'll go on to become the leaders of their Socialist utopia.
In reality, however, things will be a little different.
The opposition will be immense, mainly from regular people (Liberal and conservative alike) opposed to their psychotic vision, many of whom are well- trained in operating guns and able to instruct those who aren't. This, of course, is in addition to the police and National Guard who have excellent crowd- control training. Should the DUmmie would- be revolutionaries not crap their pants and retreat/ surrender at the sight of this opposition (Which would almost certainly be how they'd react) and actually get violent, they would be annihilated in a day or two, and the ones lucky enough to still be alive would likely be looking at VERY long terms in "Federal, pound- me- in- the- @$$ prison."
