I can't imagine that anyone who watched it hasn't been following the whole thing closely for at least the last week, and I'm betting his condescending BS-Bingo didn't change any minds.
"Taking it to the people" worked a lot better when there were just three networks and nothing else, before the internet and 500 channels of cable/satellite television to which both the engaged and the unengaged could resort for either less BS or more entertainment, respectively.
