Let's help cali find a new job

Yeah, any of you lurking DUmmies who think I'm being a mean spirited bitch, guilty.  But at least I don't run my husband's employer down on the internet, or anywhere else for that matter.  I like the fact that he supports my internet habit.  Let this be a lesson to everyone to exhibit some gratitude for having a job.
BTW, my children have both worked fast food, my son currently does, and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with working at one of those places.  They at least offer value for your hard earned dollar, plus there's meat on the menu, not some froufrou overpriced, umm, stuff.

She is in Vermont - Ben & Jerry's is the obvious choice - and she can badmouth 'rethugs' all she wants there and not worry about losing her job.

I made a decent living at it for 10+ years. Started as a cook. Ended up being the company health dept procedure guy for the lower mid-east and east coast. That entailed documenting the local health dept regs and implementing the procedures so the stores didn't get shut down. A store got shut down, I was there within 4 hours.

I freaking despise local health departments and their damn nazi sanitarians.  I've seen these bastards shut down a store because the damn city provided dumpster didn't have a drain plug in it. And then the damn city maintenance idiots told me that their ordnance prohibited them from putting one in cause it would fill up with water when it rained. I finally went and bought one, put it in myself, got the store open, and the when the HD nazi left, I told the manager to take it out and keep it. Then whenever the asshole showed up, to put it back in and tell him you were cleaning the damn thing and needed to drain the water and forgot to put it back in.

Either McDonald's or Pizza Hut.

I haven't eaten in a McDonald's in 30 years and gave up on Pizza Hut when they fired the delivery driver for defending himself against a armed robber.

None of those fast food places will do. Granted, Republicans usually go to better places, with table service, but she would still be exposed to those
demanding, loud summer people and vacationers. They would be asking her to hold the mustard, or add extra pickles, or no tomatoes, or extra ketchup packets, just making pure assholes of themselves. Nope, no fast food restaurant for cali.

Now, soup kitchens have all democrat customers, but a lot of the volunteers are repukes, and winos are notorious for not showing up on time. So, no soup kitchen for cali.

Nicer restaurants are out of the question, they're infested with repukes.

Offhand, I can't think of any job that would be suitable for someone with no tolerance, a hatred for repukes, and no marketable skill. Maybe she could become one of those people paid to unrec DUmp threads.

After thinking about it, I think that Cali should invest her own money and start a business. She can hire who she prefers and pay them a nice large salary. Provide them with Cadillac health benefits, generous vacation and sick days without a doctor's verification of illness.
