Well, this is what gets me.

I don't get any joy or fuzzies over the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive getting canned.

I wish it hadn't happened.

However, it's her own fault.

It flummoxes me, because I've watched the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive for years now, and this was w-a-a-a-a-y out of character for her; it was definitely an anamoly.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive has been around the block a few, if not several times; she knows the way life is, and she's not what one would call stupid or unintelligent.

So why?  What happened inside of her brain to cause her to do this?

I'm starting to suspect a minor cerebral aneurysm (the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive after all is not exactly young, or even middle-aged) caused by the overuse of pharmaceuticals.  I've seen this happen a great deal, these sudden abrupt out-of-thin-air eruptions and aberrations.

Let this in particular be a lesson to the primitives: drugs, even licit ones prescribed by medical practitioners, are not always good for the brain.

But CaptRandom was not a member of conservativeunderground at the time this sordid event happened, and my bitch is that stupid knee-jerk reaction of the primitives--"the freepers killed Andy," "franksolich drove away hippywife," and now this.  It's all nonsense.  In fact, it's shit, these primitival allegations.

I'm tired of the primitives making statements and allegations they can't back up.

Of course, one of the consequences of that, to the rbnyc primitive and the regressiveinaction primitive specifically, is that heretofore they'd been considered among the lumpenunterprimitiven; nobody ever paid attention to them before.  I know I never paid attention to them before, seeing them as merely part of that faceless lynch mob, that amorphous nameless blob, of primitives.

Well, because of their shooting off their mouths, making absurd and nonsensical allegations, I don't think they're destined to be unprominent in the DUmpster any more.

I remember once I was bored on the internet and I went searching for interesting boards to read, came across a board where people in the customer service industry would gripe, it was mostly waiters and waitresses. I thought some of the gripes were interesting so I bookmarked the site and would read it every once in a while. Well 1 night a waitress posted about her experience with a family, next thing you know someone registered at the board and it turned out it was the customer that was being complained about, the customer sent a private message to the person doing the complaining and gave her the name of the place she worked, what the waitress looked like and described the table of people just to let her know that it was really the customer. Turned out it was and the waitress posted how embarrassed she was about the whole situation and it ended fine, but the waitress was a little nervous. The customer said she read that board all the time because she found it interesting and was shocked when she was being described.

Heh, I decided to look up such a discussion online for the heck of it.  I googled things like customer service hospitality industry discussion board and got zilch, zip, nada.  After a few tries of that nature, I gave up, googled shitty customers in restaurants and got this link

When I looked on the Rindge, NH town website, the only Pitt (Jane) I could find anywhere was listed not as a town lawyer, but as an "Acting Planning Director".  Alas, she no longer holds that position and is nowhere to be found amongst the public employees of said town.

It's pretty interesting reading.  My husband and I personally never do any of the garbage these servers are complaining about and in fact go out of our way to leave at least 20% for fair service, 25%-30% for excellent service.  However, twice in our lives, hubby has insisted on leaving a penny tip, just so the server knew we hadn't forgotten, for absymal service due totally to the waiter.  We know all about how the kitchen gets backed up, electricity fails, etc., so forth and so on, and have in fact, while dining with friends who refused to tip under those circumstances, left enough money for their tip as well as ours...But when we get a server who made us wait twenty minutes after being seated to even bring the menu, in a restaurant with barely any customers and an off peak hour to boot, while she stood chatting with her fellow waitresses, then proceeded to ask very put out and rude whenever we dared address her at all, including simply requesting what was on the menu, well, it was a penny for that bitch.
The restaurant in question folded shortly thereafter.  Can't imagine why, oh wait, yeah, anyone we knew who'd gone there vowed to never return due to the horrible attitudes of all the wait staff.  Mom and Dad, if your teenager and young adult children SAY they don't want to wait tables, they probably won't lower your cost margin any when you utilize their "services" either.
