I've worked in all kinds of kitchens for over a decade and have never, ever heard or seen of someone spitting in someone else's food. It just doesn't happen. As a cook, you're watched every minute of the day. It's nearly impossible to avoid not being seen.

That doesn't mean people don't come in sick with runny noses. It's a rough business... you show up or you don't have a job.

If I were a restaurant owner, and were forced to choose, I'd probably rather have an employee spitting in the food than calling well-to-do, large party, frequent customers with the insulting messages DUmmy cali claimed to have given.

No seating if a minute late. No special orders. No dietary accommodations. A clear message they are unwelcome.

If the owner didn't immediately fire her, and call the customer begging forgiveness, he deserves to go out of business.

This is an example of what happens when anyone hires a DUmp democrat.

Well the last booking for a large reserved party would have to be at 2 pm right? if one books a party, shouldn't they at least have the courtesy of showing up at said time?? There must be some small print that says if said party is over 1 hour late, 50% of meal of will be charged on noted credit card.

Besides, I've worked in restaurants and they ALWAYS make every effort to be flexible to the customers. I don't get why you posted what you did with so many details.

That was wrong to throw your employer under the bus while venting. Just my opinion.
